Dear Single Mothers,
Please don't let anyone tell you that they have the right to take your child away. If you are underage (below 21), then yes. Jabatan Kebajikan Malaysia will need consent from your parents/guardian. They want to see if you are fit to look after the baby.
But if you are harrassed to give up your child in a very inorderly manner, let me know. We have people who can help - to investigate.
And finally, again, it must be scary being an unwed, pregnant mum. Please don't throw your baby or do anything that may harm not just the child, but yourself too. DM me. The team and I can try and help okay?
To the rest of us - let us not stigmatise single mothers. Allah has plans for them and their innocent children.
